My organization tip:  I take zip lock bags, from snack size on up, and put stuff in them.  Then I use pushpins I've decorated with buttons to tack them to the wall.  I can see what I have, it's dust free, and makes a neat collage.  I'm the out of site out of mind type, too.

organizing lumber and wallpaper: I bought a draftsman’s box in Business Depot, which is Staples in the US. Anyways if they don't have them in your area and you want, I can send you one. Mine was made out of sturdy cardboard and the sections are in steps so the back sections are higher than the front sections...can't remember the price though.  It holds lots of mini lumber and rolls of mini wallpaper too! Mine is *full* and I should really get another one.
